But don't you just love her hair?  It's funny this photo was titled "Jamie Lee Curtis-old".  Well I never!!  My new doo is more like this, just don't have the jaw (or the body, tan, fame, etc).

It's time for my second hair cut.  I'm still afraid of loosing my curls.  The longer it gets, the curlier-well in the back, the front is looking kinda saggy. I haven't brushed or combed my hair in MONTHS. Just wash, finger comb and go. I'm told this is "normal".  What's so normal about it?

Slip Sliding Away

Waiting for the thunder clap, the white bolt piercing the sky. Sipping wine on the deck while dark billowy clouds march forward. Summer rain. My tomatoes are ripening and the strawberries are rotting on the vine. I can't pick them fast enough. The Blue Jays left but our squirrel family venture onto the deck exiting only when cheeks reach maximum capacity. New zucinnis look like alien pods, tiny bell peppers weigh down their branches and dill battle the local spider.

I have a new complaint.  Just a minor BURNING in my fingers, EVERYDAY numb hands and tingling toe tips.  Glory-Bee.  Forget about the arm bandaging. It's too hot and quite frankly it feels like Voodoo. I do my stretches - they are very much like torture.  Gotta rip the scar tissue from it's foothold and loosen it up.  Gotta pull the muscles to the point of agonizing pain and burn.  The nice doctor says I'm good for a few months.  See you later, I say.  But what about the numbing and burning?  Oh, that's something else.  Get some exercise, loose a few pounds.  Stretch.
